Our Story
What kind of person can perceive such chemistry and potential between two strangers to predict that a blind date could lead to anything beyond just a simple first & last date?
Well, that would be our sisters, and that is exactly what happened! If you know Adrienne and Jessica, then you’ll understand that there is no power other than God’s good grace that would convince them they do not know what is best for their siblings. Reluctantly, we can admit that they were right again!
Fueled by skepticism and curiosity, it all began as a blind dinner date at Pacific Table that led to a 4-hour conversation trickling out into the parking lot as the restaurant closed for the night. After a few months of long-distance dating and hours-long daily phone calls, Ashley accepted a job that allowed her to move to Fort Worth to continue to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
As are all things in a big family, whether necessary or not, everyone pitched in to help pull off Ashley’s surprise proposal. In true Cowtown fashion and with the assistance of some well-timed Christmas festivities, namely the infamous Fort Worth Christmas tree in Sundance Square, the new life that we will share together began with a decisive “Yes!” from the bride-to-be.
With confidence and excitement, we walk through this next chapter of our lives with the love and support of the best friends and family, and look forward to sharing countless memories with each of you.
